Turning point Park is located off of Lake Avenue at the east end of Boxart Street. There is a parking lot at the end of the street that is centrally located from all that is going on at the park. To the south of the parking lot you can go down a trail that will take you to the Riverside cemetery right on Lake Ave. Along the way you will find a trail that will take you by the south waterfall known as "Brown Falls" on your way down to the Genesee River. There is a loading dock there for large ships that come from Toronto to transport concrete. Follow that trail around and you will end up on the brand new bridge that just finished getting built. This bridge takes you all the way around the river and right up to the other end of Charlotte by the boat docks and even straight to Ontario Beach Park. The bridge is absolutely beautiful and if you haven't been there yet you must check it out. If from your car you walk through either trail in the woods and maintain a heading westbound you will end up at another waterfall known as "Red Falls." Taking the trail east will take you right back to that bridge I just spoke about. There are many other little trails that I will let you discover yourself, there are a lot of them. Some that will even take you to some very secluded and beautiful places.
